My Shoutout Atlanta Interview: Behind the Business

I’m honored to have been featured in Shoutout Atlanta. The interview gave me the chance to share my journey as a photographer, mother, and small business owner.

My Journey Into Photography

Photography has always been important to me. Becoming a mother changed the way I see and document the world.

It taught me to appreciate the beauty in everyday moments. The quiet snuggles. The fleeting stages. The connections that make family life so meaningful.

When I moved to Atlanta, I quickly fell in love with the community. The city is full of welcoming families and inspiring stories.

Every family has a unique story to tell. I feel privileged to preserve a small part of that story through photographs.

Why I Love Lifestyle Photography

My work is rooted in connection and authenticity. I focus less on perfection and more on genuine moments.

I want families to see themselves in their images. Not just how they looked, but how this season of life felt.

Whether I’m documenting pregnancy, a growing family, or life with a new baby, my goal remains the same. I create photographs that feel honest and timeless.

Some of the most meaningful images happen naturally. They come from interaction, movement, and emotion. Those are often the photographs families cherish most years later.

Building a Business Around Family

One of the greatest joys of this work is meeting wonderful families throughout the Atlanta area.

Being invited into important milestones is something I never take for granted. It is a responsibility and a privilege.

This feature gave me the opportunity to reflect on my journey. It also allowed me to think about the lessons I’ve learned along the way.

I’m grateful for every family who has trusted me with their memories. Their support has made this business possible.
